Whether you’re a member or want to learn more before joining, you should definitely participate. We have these events so that you can more easily learn about your rights, exercising them, what’s happening at the school board meetings, who’s running in upcoming elections, and so much more.
KEA/TSTA Members receive free CPE credits through our Zoom training series. These trainings always leave members with nuggets of wisdom that they carry throughout their careers. Collect your career-supporting nuggets this fall!

It’s almost the end of the school year and we’re celebrating early. Come enjoy some social time with your KEA officers. We’ll go over the survey results, our meeting with district administration, and safe schools. First round is on us!

Join us for our spring members meeting at Hasta La Pasta at 2pm. We’ll discuss district financials, safe schools, and staff retention.
Members are invited to get an update on local plans and status and put forth new business. We’ll also cover state and national updates. Nonmembers can attend and join in person. Only members can vote. Refreshments are provided!

We’re starting orientation for our Fall 2021 Cohort on November 1. You don’t have to know anything and you’ll be mentored by a local officer. It’s about a 5 hour per month commitment.

This conference, geared toward educators in their first five years of practice, is an excellent opportunity to attend quality professional development sessions and spend time with fellow early career educators from across the various states in the south.
